The holiday season always brings an influx of Spokane family photos. It is the perfect time to seize the opportunity for family portraits when everyone is together. In our lives kids grow up, move away, begin their own families, and life gets busy! It becomes difficult to bring everyone together in the same city, even on the holidays. That is why the Meyer family contacted me in September to do their Spokane family photos the day after Christmas. They knew all ten (twelve if you count the furry members) of them would be home for the holiday and they were determined to document it.
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect. Spokane had received snow for days leaving our city in a pristine white blanket. We began the photo shoot in their Spokane Valley home allowing the large picture window to fill their living room with natural light. Once we captured the necessities inside, I took them outside on the back deck which offered snow-covered tree tops. Quite a perfect backdrop to candidly capture the beauty in this family! Our last setting for these snowy Spokane family photos was a 5-minute drive to the Centennial Trail which provided an even greater winter wonderland with the river in the background and plenty of space to get silly and have some winter fun!
Sibling photos are always a must. I don’t know what it is but you have them turn to look at each other and they ALWAYS start giggling. Cutest thing ever!

Book your Spokane family photos by shooting me an email! I typically recommend booking 2 weeks in advance in the spring and early summer. In late summer, fall and the holiday season I recommend scheduling at least 4 weeks in advance to assure you get the date you prefer!
