The leaves are just starting to change here in Spokane Washington and I am getting pretty excited to take fall wedding pictures!  All my previous clients know I am a fan of dynamic colors, lighting and all things that make a picture POP!  So when the air turns crisp and the shadows start to linger I know I am going to get some sensational images.  It is hard to tame the electricity running through my trigger finger!

To celebrate the changing of the seasons I would like to share with you a union that warms my heart.  This is Laura and Matt.  Each of these individuals had been previously married and had children. Their lives were set; until both unexpectedly lost their other half.  Nothing can take away from their first marriages, and both of them understand this fully.  I believe the loss is part of why their love is so strong and so unique.  The combined family supports each other from every angle.  This wedding day was full of emotions and joy.

The happy couple didn’t want any details to be lost, so they hired a 2nd photographer and I requested my photography friend Jenn Alberts to come along and help me ensure nothing was missed.  We started off the day at the Davenport Hotel getting the ladies all dolled up for the ceremony.  We moved to one of my absolute favorite fall photo spots; Finch Arboretum, to do formal images.  It was so fun to capture the girls playing in the leaves!

The ceremony took place in Our Lady Lourdes church.  The reception was at Commellini’s and the FABULOUS fall bouquet was created by Esther with Special Touch.  My favorite detail (as usual) was the cake from Sweet Frostings.  Take a peak at these beautiful fall wedding pictures, and give me a call to book your wedding.  I still have some space in my calendar!
